HelloSoft’s Echo Canceller for wired and wireless devices

HelloEC is Hellosoft’s industry-leading Echo Canceller designed to provide top notch Line and Acoustic Echo cancellation for highest quality VOIP and Video on a range of end devices, including IP Phones, speakerphones, mobile handsets, ATAs, CPEs and residential gateways. The highly robust, low complexity and highly optimized software is compliant with ITU-T Rec. G.168 (01/2007), ITU-T Rec. G.167 (03/1993) and P.340 (05/2000) specifications. Proven on all major platforms and OS, HelloEC’s low MIPS implementation eliminates the need for a separate chip or hardware, thus significantly reducing the BOM of the end device. Designed to cancel effective acoustic echo span of up to 128ms in a 512ms moving window span, HelloEC delivers impeccable full-duplex functionality. A combination of time domain and frequency domain algorithms provide adaptive echo cancellation and non-linear echo suppression for both 4 KHz narrowband and 7 KHz wide-band speech.
